Color: Ruby red with violet hues, clean and very brilliant.
Aroma: Fruity, raspberry, red fruits; very characteristic of the variety. Light notes of toast and spice.
In Mouth: Medium-bodied, good equilibrium of tannins and acidity. Finishing with notes of raspberry, toast and light notes of wood.

International Wine Cellar
Aromas of blackberry and bitter cherry, with a whiff of dried flowers. A juicy, energetic wine that offers lively dark fruit flavors and notes of licorice and cracked pepper. Finishes bright and persistent, with a touch of smoky oak and lingering spiciness. As usual, this bottling is an outstanding value.

The 2009 Protocolo Tinto is 100% Tempranillo aged for 3 months in seasoned American oak. Purple-colored, it displays a nose reminiscent of Beaujolais. Fruity and fresh on the palate, the finish has no hard edges. Drink it over the next 2 years.

Screw Cap
Wines sealed with a screw cap as opposed to a cork, which experts report protects and preserves wine more effectively than does a cork, while also eliminating the possibility of cork taint.
No Sulfites
