The sensational 2002 Shiraz (from 89-year-old vines) offers up scents of roasted meats, beef broth, blackberries, and cassis liqueur. Its texture, sumptuous depth, and incredible richness and purity blew me away. Despite its huge size, it possesses tremendous equilibrium and definition. Drink this classic South Australian Shiraz over the next 10-15 years. If you love the wines of Torbreck, you'll also find this wine totally compelling. Score range: 95-98.

Wine Spectator
Impressive in so many ways, not least in how it packs layers and layers of flavor into a lithe package that never loses its refinement. The blueberry and currant flavors submerge themselves in a racy frame, enlivened by acidity but marked by gentle generosity on the long finish. Best from 2009 through 2017. 520 cases made.

Sustainable practices incorporate organic standards and may exceed them and include ecologically and socially sound business practices such as fair pay for farm workers and energy conservation.
Screw Cap
Wines sealed with a screw cap as opposed to a cork, which experts report protects and preserves wine more effectively than does a cork, while also eliminating the possibility of cork taint.
No Sulfites
All wines naturally contain some sulfites, however wines that contain less than 10 parts per million sulfites are not required to include "Contains Sulfites" on their labels.
