Columbia Crest
The wine is a deep purple color with aromatics of white pepper, rose petal, cocoa and raspberries. A perfect balance of subtle earth, coffee and chocolate are joined by raspberry-blueberry lushness on the palate. This Cote Rotie-style Syrah features a small amount of Viognier which contributes an interesting apple-pear character to the long, ingering finish.

Supple and seductive, a lush mouthful of blackberry, blueberry and plum flavors shaded with some subtlety by black pepper, olive and vanilla notes, all of it lingering effortlessly on the remarkably refined finish. Drink now through 2010.

Wine Enthusiast
Much more concentrated and powerfully fragrant than the previous vintage, this is a keeper. It's sinfully dark and bursting with pepper, coffee and berry scents. In the mouth it explodes with vivid fruit intensity, yet retains an elegance, keeping alcohol at a sensible 14%.

Certified organic vineyards must meet Demeter"s additional criteria for a period of one year before earning the designation "biodynamic."
Sustainably Grown
Sustainable practices incorporate organic standards and may exceed them and include ecologically and socially sound business practices such as fair pay for farm workers and energy conservation.
Screw Cap
Wines sealed with a screw cap as opposed to a cork, which experts report protects and preserves wine more effectively than does a cork, while also eliminating the possibility of cork taint.
No Sulfites
All wines naturally contain some sulfites, however wines that contain less than 10 parts per million sulfites are not required to include "Contains Sulfites" on their labels.
